In the XX century a number of applied disciplines appeared at the intersection of linguistics, mathematics and computer science. In particular, statistical linguistics is a discipline that studies the quantitative laws of the natural language that appear in texts. At the moment, there are a number of studies that present mathematical models for assessing text complexity. However, these models are obtained mainly for English texts and are not supported by appropriate automated analysis systems. Meanwhile, the need for such systems and appropriate methods for analyzing texts arises from expert methodologists, creators of textbooks, as well as teachers who develop various teaching materials. With the development of the system of examination and certification of educational and methodological literature, there is a need for objective and quickly implemented assessments of a number of complexity parameters of educational texts.
